Amit Chatterjee, CEO and Founder
Amit Chatterjee is CEO and Founder of Hara, the fastest growing provider of environmental and energy management solutions. Mr. Chatterjee has been at the forefront of shaping a new category of business software and has championed the notion of organizational metabolism. Under Chatterjee’s leadership Hara addresses an end-to-end environmental and energy business process from reporting to reduction across an organization and its value chain. Mr.Chatterjee is a thought-leader on green economy innovation, energy independence and entrepreneurship. He has participated in prominent conferences such as the United Nations Copenhagen Climate Change Conference, and has been a featured participant at Fortune Brainstorm Tech, Aspen Institute’s Clean Energy Economic Forum and the Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change Conference. Mr. Chatterjee is a published author of The Post Carbon Economy and is on the board of the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association. Prior to founding Hara he led SAP’s fast-growing Governance, Risk and Compliance unit. Mr. Chatterjee developed his strategic and leadership experience while at McKinsey & Co., working with clients such as SAP, Cisco and Oracle. Mr. Chatterjee has B.A. degrees in Political Science and Chemistry from UC Berkeley, with graduate studies at Stanford University.
Udo Waibel, Chief Technology Officer
Udo Waibel is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder of Hara Software. Prior to joining Hara, Mr. Waibel spent over 14 years at SAP in senior management roles and has conceived, built and managed major product innovations for SAP including Employee Self-Service, Resource and Portfolio Management, Duet and Alloy (formerly "Project Atlantic"). Each of these products defined new standards for enterprise application and architecture and independently generated over $100 million dollars for SAP on an annual basis. Within Hara, Mr. Waibel is responsible for overall product development and technology. Mr. Waibel holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, Germany.
Chris Farinacci, Chief Marketing Officer
Chris Farinacci is Chief Marketing Officer at Hara. Mr. Farinacci has over 18 years of experience shaping the development of software categories and introducing innovative products in the product lifecycle management (PLM), supply chain management (SCM), and supplier relationship management (SRM) markets. Before coming to Hara, Mr. Farinacci held leadership positions at Oracle, where he was responsible for leading the marketing strategies for Oracle's SCM, PLM, procurement and manufacturing applications. Prior to Oracle, Mr. Farinacci served as senior vice president of marketing at Agile Software, where he helped launch innovative new applications for environmental and FDA product compliance. He previously held leadership roles at i2, Aspect Development, and SDRC (now Siemens PLM). Mr. Farinacci received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
Ray Picard, Sr. Vice President, Worldwide Field Operations
Ray Picard is Senior Vice President of World Wide Field Operations at Hara Software. Mr. Picard is responsible for all of Hara's sales organization, channel partners, field engineering, client services and support. Mr. Picard has over 17 years experience in the technology industry most recently as Vice President of Americas Field Operations at Interwoven Inc. Mr. Picard has also held management and executive management positions at Metacode Technologies (acquired by Interwoven Inc.), McAfee (formerly Network Associates) and CA. Mr. Picard holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from California State University at Northridge.
Michel Gelobter, Chief Green Officer
Michel Gelobter is Chief Green Officer at Hara and one of the country’s leading sustainability and climate strategists, having worked for more than 25 years in business, policy, research, and advocacy on energy, environmental, and social policy. Michel is Founder and Chairman of the Board of Cooler, a for-profit social venture whose mission is to connect every consumer purchase to a solution for global warming. Prior to Cooler, Michel was President of Redefining Progress, the think-tank that helped design the world’s most aggressive climate legislation which was signed into California law in August of 2006. Michel also founded and directed the Environmental Policy Program at Columbia University, worked as a Congressional Black Caucus Fellow as well as for the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee, was Director of Environmental Quality for the City of New York, and served as an Assistant Commissioner for its Department of Environmental Protection. He is also a board member of the Natural Resources Defense Council and Ceres.
Volker Enders, Ph.D., Vice President of Client Services
Dr. Volker Enders is Vice President of Client Services and Co-Founder of Hara Software. Dr. Enders has led companies to profitability and successful exits three times in his career. He has over 15 years of experience in leading worldwide professional services teams, global customer support and product management at companies including Contivo, Outerbay, SAP, Oracle, Fox Technology, and Bridgestream. Dr. Enders worked for more than 6 years at the Institute of Laser Physics of the University of Hamburg, Germany working on efficient lighting, cooling and energy transfer projects. He has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Hamburg, Germany.
Lorena Chatterjee, Vice President of Operations
Lorena Chatterjee is Vice President of Operations at Hara Software, where she is responsible for overall company operations and the development of organizational infrastructure. Ms. Chatterjee has over 15 years of leadership experience in Human Resource management at start up and established companies. In her first start up, Sitesmith, she developed a talent acquisition plan that grew Sitesmith from 40 employees to over 200 within a year. Sitesmith was subsequently acquired by MFN (now Abovenet). Ms. Chatterjee holds a B.A. in Psychology and Social Sciences from UC Berkeley.
